It all started in the Yucatan peninsula, in Central America, over 4.000 years ago. A group of people decided to settle there, and cultivat the land, growing corn, beans, squash and chilli peppers. For centuries, these people lived in small towns and villages, growing crops and fishing, slowly growing bigger, until real cities rose up in the land.
For 2000 years the cities grew and expanded, building first houses and stelae, 
then buuildings, and then Pyramids, until their cities spread all over Yucatan, and were the biggest cities in America
